Default i'm sure this gets asked a lot!!!

So i was a previous owner of a 98 a4 1.8t and was sad to see it to go... but not for long b/c as soon as i sold i went to the dealer and picked up a 05 1.8t quattro ultra-sport... I was curious to see if there was an affordable way to acheive 300hp...

i'm going tomorrow to get the ecu flashed but i was wondering ifi should wait until i get the exhaust installed first...

if anybody has any other affordable modifications i am open for ideas.

they say the flash is a big difference maker though,so i'm pretty excited about that

The best bang for your buck is going to be a chip. Be careful though if the car is still under warranty. Chipping it can deliver about 45 hp quickly. If you go stage 1+ you are looking at about a 60 hp increase. After that it gets expensive. A Stage 1+ setup with the larger injectors can be done for about $900 if you buy the injectors from someone other than APR.

Well first install exhaust & DP because when you get the APR flash you won't have the testpipe CEL. Also the only way to get to 300chp is a BT. Even with
Stage 1+ and other mods you'll be at 250chp minus drivetrain loss then you're at 170chp still.
