Hello everyone, iv just logged into my audi forums account after a whole year of inactive use... awful! Anyway im at a bit of a flat spot with my car, iv done a bit to it over the time iv owned it and not sure whats next?

Can anyone help or give me any ideas? Your feedback and responses would be very welcome. The spec of my car is written on the pic below. I haven't put on there the 8" SUB AND AMP added to the syphony sound system cleverly installed within the old ski / golf bag head rest thingy bit in the back lol.

BTW - Does anyone know where you can get matte chrome finish mirrors at a reasonable cost? I bought some of ebay for around £70 and they turned up and so shiny I could brush my teeth and do my hair in them, have to be matt chrome or they look **** - thanks

iv never stolen anything in my life and im not prepared to start now, especially wool! I dont think wrapping my mirrors in wool (or asking my nan to do it) would be the finish I was looking for! I thank you for your input but im looking to buy some matt chrome S4 / RS4 mirrors, if I ever need to knit an audi jumper ill steel wool - lol

 

Is this guy forreal? I think he ment use the steel wool to scratch up the chrome to acheive the matte finsih. Or u can just buy the real deals if u are so picky.

For the chrome Matte finish you can just get S4 mirror caps from e-bay or another supplier. Usually if you go trhough VW cafe or some store like that is going to be an arm and a leg.

 

Do you still have the chrome mirrors, my mrs has just bought a black A4 57 plate convertable, I think they would look ok on a black car. No idea how to change them though. Oh and are they electric ?
