i want to swap the headlight housing...
im really over with my headlights having constant condensation. especially on the drivers side and it has been this way since the beginning of this winter. the dealer handed out to me a service bulletin on this issue saying that this is a normal occurrence. if this is so normal then why dont i see this on other a4 - b6 models on the road? my car faces the sun when parked outside, ive driven the car with lights on during the day but the fog barely disappears. the housing itself must be busted.
so now i want to do a fix of my own and this is my question. my car has HID's with the auto-leveling feature. can i buy a new pair of headlights made for HID's (say thru e-bay) and yank out their lights to install with what i already have? because i have searched over and over and have not come across a pair of headlights with the auto-leveling feature.
i hope my thread makes sense!
thanks everyone.

Is not the housing, there's a mod called the O-ring mod. Search for it, is really simple. There's an O-ring that goes bad with time and causes some condensation inside the housing, specially after the carwash or rain. You need to get this fixed or else your headlights themselves could go bad overtime.
