I Need Wipers lol

RE: I Need Wipers lol
from the internet,
some ppl tried autozone, pepboys etc.
None of the universal adapters (previous audi models before 02 refered as C3 adapter), PIAA, or BOSCH wipers work with B6 models.
so dont bother wasting time and get frustrated.
even for the BOSCH (aerotwin, microEdge, etc) WON'T fit our B6.
the only way is to go Audi Dealer and purchase the OEM BOSCH wiper blades from them.
I bought them for $35 bucks including tax last week.
Unfortunately when I installed the driver side, I pushed too hard and the clip broke, had to replace the whole wiper arm for $85 bucks.
($49 for driver wiper arm, $24 for labour)
and the dealer told me B7's wiper arm wont fit B6.
just make sure when u take the old one out, dont put too much force. the manual has instructions for replacing wiper blade.
now my wiper finally works great...
here's the OEM BOSCH part# for B6:
-8E1 955 425A (Driver side)
-8E0 955 425A (Passenger side)
good luck!

Anyone got any ideas for the new gen 2007 A6/S6 models?
Id rahter not get OEM from dealer. I love the silicone blades from piaa as they leave this nice coating that beads up the water when driving instead of leaving a sheet of blurry wetness like rubber ones do.
Just not sure what that adapter is called..I need to change my blades as well

my solution. rain-x the windows. 99% of the time i dont even use my wipers. the water beads right off the windsheild. its fun watching friends when they get in my car when its raining. then they immediatly ask what i do to make it do that. I love rain-x

You can switch to Bosch Aerotwins, you just need new arms. ECS sells a kit of sorts:

Just get the wiper arms and aerotwin blades. That's what I plan to do when I need new wipers. +1 on the rain-x though
