i messed up bad need some help

Default i messed up bad need some help

hey guys i did something really bad i left my windows cracked open because of the heat and a huge rainstorm came down and forgot about the windows, of course everything got wet and now my passeger side windows front and back wont go up or down. any suggestions will i have to take it in to an electrician or what. please some one help had to leave a bag over night so it wont get wet again. i have an 03 a4 1.8t quattro

Well, prolly because of the water, one of the connections got firied.

man thats fk'd up. yea you got tons of problems now, dont expect the expense for that repair to be cheap, especially being an audi.

Ok, It's not as bad as you think. You might have to replace the switches, aside from that i don't see what else could cause the windows not to operate anymore.
The same thing happened to me a week or so ago, left the windows open and a HUGE storm came, but luckily the car didn't get so wet. Do you live in the DC area too?

Do this, push and pull really fast the window switch that doesn't work, do so for a minute without stopping. What that does, is it scratches the surface of oxidation created by the water. If you get lucky your windows willwork for a bit.So you'll know that you need a new switch board.

If you are handy, changing a switch is not too hard, there are instructions on how to takeapart a door.... i've had to dothat for my car last week...not so bad, let me know how it goes
