Hissing sound from gas cap
Hey guys,
Sometimes when I'm at the gas station and about to fill my car up, there will be a hissing sound coming from my gas tank after I remove the gas cap. Almost sounds like there is air trying to escape. When I try to fill the car up it will decline the gasoline so that I can only fill it up .1 gallons at a time. It will keep this up for about 5-10 minutes and then it will fill up like normal.
Anyone experience this issue?

It is possible that the fill vent is clogged. I see that quite a bit with spyders going up there & laying egg nests. The vent is probably somewere inside the inner fender area on the side of the fuel filler opening.
