ur best route is to go to ddm tuning and order ur set there. factory match i belive is
4500k in the 35 or 6000k in the 55watt. Swapping the lights is plug and play. Dont let all the wires scare u all u do i match them up and plug ur new hids into ur stock light with the supplied connecter and u have hids. And as for the ebay i would say definatly no go on a 100watt kit. as i for one have never heard of a 100 watt kit and if it did exisit it could potentialy burn up ur headlight. and two its probably just the bulbs u can but at pepboys and not the true hid kit. if u plan on doing ur fogs in hid get the 35 watt as there is a rumor that 55 watt for the fogs will burn ur housing but using the 55 watt on top is okay.

100Watt is overkill on whatever spectrum. If you just want the replacement get one, if you want an upgraded look you can go with pa4ul's route and get the DDM's, they look nice.

If you google HID + AUDI you'll find good information on wattage and color (the 4000-8000 ranges). The knock-offs are cheap because they are made in China. From what I have read, Xenon HIDs deteriorate over time so it is probably best to replace both so the color and brightness match. That's a cost vs ****-retentiveness decision you have to make.

d1s is the type of bulb. are u planning on replacing both lights or just one. If u do both the kelvin temp really dosent matter cuz they are going to match. But stock is 4300k

That's another thing I forgot to mention, Is best to replace both at the same time for color matching and deterioration. But is your decision, 4300k sounds about right, I thought it was 4500.

D1S are correct i actually went through this last year and im going on my 2nd set right now. You want to make sure that you dont go with 10k or 8k ..the light looks nice but hard to see at night sometimes...I went with 6k this time ..Hint of blue but good vision. I actually bought mine for $200 last year for both..and already one is out. I just got a set for $50 well see if they last any longer. They do come with a 2yr warranty. Well see. and yes change both..doesnt look right if you dont...then you also have a spare from the old one.
