HID xenon 35W or 50W, Difference ? ? ?

Default HID xenon 35W or 50W, Difference ? ? ?

I was searching on ebay to buy HID for my car and I notice that there are 35w or 50w, i was curious what's the main difference, dose anyone know.

50w will consume more power. 50watts/12volts= 4.1 amp load. 35watts/12volts= 2.9 amp load. I assume the 50w version isn't necessarily a brighter light but more for to match the load of a halogen bulb(typically 55w)if the vehicle has a sensitive monitoring system that would detect a lower wattage setup and trigger some sort of warning indicator. That would be my guess, and only a guess.

Preferably pick up a 55W kit. If not you will get a message on your dashboard saying your headlights are out. But if you decide against it, I'm sure you can wire up a resistor.
