Hi all, just come onto this forum as i have developed a problem with my retractible roof, just as the sun comes out aswell lol

The problem is that the roof doesnt unlatch or move when activated, I think the motor might of gone. When i start the car the roof symbol comes on, on the dash, solid for a a couple of secs then flashes. When activating the roof same happens with the symbol on the dash and the windows move down into position, half way down. Then nothing with the symbol still flashing. I then went the opposite way with the swith, as if to return the roof back, and the windows returned to original position. I have put the roof up and down in the full sequence twice as this is meant to reset the interlocks.

I am new to this forum and i do apologise if there was a correct way of introducing myself but i am only home for the weekend as i am in the armed forces and would like to take advantage of this good weather. Thank you for any responses in advanced.
