I took my car to a shop, looks like i'm leaking coolant...again. I had the same shop replace the coolant flange and thermostat hose about couple months ago. I figured they may had done a faulty job so i took it back to that shop. Now they said there was nothing wrong with their work but the heater hose inlet and outlet is the culprit. Is this possible???? do these hoses go bad on B6 A4's? Or is the shop just trying to bail out of service warranty??

 

If your talking about the hoses that go into the firewall behind the battery then no those almost never go bad. I would say they are pulling your leg. Take it to another shop for a second opinion, if it comes back that they were lying to you, then you can take legal action against the shop and most likely get all your repairs from there refunded.
