The headlights should be air-tight so there isn't any condensation of water into them. I just did my HIDs and i had to go back on my driver side headlight and glue some things

i know with some aftermarket h.i.d. kits. moisture will develop. with some kits you cant put the plastic cover back on the back of the headlamp assembly, letting moisture in.

With my setup i drilled a hole through those covers and put a weather proofing on either side which came with the hid kit

The H.I.D's are not sealed - they are vented to the atmosphere by design. One cause for excessive fogging is faulty o-rings. There's a DIY on fixing this at http://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/893818.phtml. I'll be trying this one before the fall rains arrive.

clearcorner mod was a easy as cake. U have to break the reflector to get it out but it looks great. I post pics in daylight. Took about 10 minutes.

I'm happy to report that my longstanding problem with headlight condensation is (finally) solved! I followed the DIY above and it worked like magic. I've been fighting Audi so long on this, and all they could say was they didn't consider it an issue that needed to be fixed under warranty. Last winter I litterally had water in my headlights for several months! If you have condensation of any kind, I highly recommend you do this mod right away!

Here's some additional points beyond what's in the DIY:

- The replacement o-rings you'll want to get are size #78. I bought a pack of 10 at Home Depot for under $2
- The trick when filing down the existing adjuster shaft is to widen the channel that the o-ring sits in, but keep it's factory depth. I had a 1/8" round file (used for sharpening chainsaw blades) that worked perfectly.
- The headlight adjusters should still be operational once you are done. I tested mine and they still worked - make sure you lube around the o-ring.

That's it!
