Default Hartmann B7 HRS4 - 252-HB Replica Wheels - Fitment Question

Hey all,

I'm looking around for some future mods and am toying around with the idea of changing my stock wheels out for these Hartmann RS4 reps. I have a 2002 A4 with the sport package and needless to say it sits lower than the base package...

I was wondering if anyone has these in 18's? Also, do they rub at all? They also offer them in 19 but I think they'd definitely rub then, or at least prevent me from having anyone ever sit in my back seat.

They won't rub with 18's, especially if you aren't lowered. 19's won't rub either as long as you keep the current ride height. If you lower it a couple more inches you will hit the fender well going over bumps. You could actually put on the 18's, lower it another 2 inches and it still won't rub.

Does anybody know what the weights on hartmann's various wheels are, and what the stock 16" wheels weigh? You'd think hartmann would list the weights on their site, but either I'm blind or they're not there...

Thanks for the help. I'll see if I can grab these cheaper somewhere other than the Hartmann site. Olstyn - I don't think their site lists the weight of the wheel, sorry.

If the site does not list the rim weights, email or call the sales dept. BTW, I hope you know you'll have to go to a lower profile tire with the 18" in order to maintain the same diameter tire -- both to avoid rubbing and also to keep your speedometer somewhat accurate.

ppgoal, I'd be quite surprised if someone made that mistake, which of course means that someone out there has made it. I suppose it's like fetishes - if you think you're making one up as a joke, there's probably a website dedicated to it. :P
