Fuel Light?

It wasn't the cap. Bought a new one from Audi for $38, and they won't let me return it...awesome. Guess I'll have to wait until it warms up and then get to work on dropping the tank and attempting to replace the sensor.

sorry to hear that man... If you don't mind the light that much just put it off until your next emissions or safety inspection, or just try doing it yourself. Paying the dealer is going to run you a good dollar. Here's a link that might help you on your quest: www.vagcat.com you need to register for access but once in, is an online ETKA (the same version the dealers use to get our part numbers), it will give you an idea of where the senso is and how to get the part before hand so that you can replace it once you drop yoru tank.

I've been through three gas caps to fix that issue, but no dice. It only does it every now and then, and other than being obnoxious, I was told by the dealership that it's not a problem. It has to do with the sensor that indicates the gas door is open, or something like that.
The error will reset if you hit the reset button or the up/down on the windshield wiper lever, if only for a few minutes.
