This instruction is for B5, but should be the same for B6.

Hit the treads with ant-seize when reinstalling.

good call thanks for the heads up. does anybody have any tips for getting them off. its a little cramped under there so i cant get the air ratchet under there. ive tried some penetrating oil but no luck. also, whats the best way to jack the car up because i know there are specific jack points but i dont trust that audi tire jack.

Not to seem like an ***, but are you turning the right way? You are working backwards, so never know.

I wouldn't use the air ratchet, just a good wrench, maybe a breaker bar, and your hands. Its way to easy to screw things up with an air tool.

I jack up using a floor jack at the same points.
