Default filling the tank

hey guy...I noticed that when filling up the car I can't pump more then a liter after the pump stops...my old golf I was able to add an extra 4-5 liters no problem....is that how it is with the audi's that it won't let u fill more after the auto stop shuts off??

I think that depends on a fuel tank design.

was it a hot day when u filled up casue it can just be gas makin gas pressure which effects the gas pump
do u hear a hissing from the gas hole when u remove the gas cap
try letting the gas exit a bit to free up some pressure and room in the tank then fill up
