I posted about a month ago about my brother wrecking my car and it just keeps getting better. Just got a call from the mechanic and apparently my engine was extremely overheated and needs to be replaced. He said when he took the radiator off water came out of the lines, I cannot figure out where it came from.My brothertold me he drove it from the accident to his work, which was about a mile,and noticed it was getting hot. He then got it towed to some hole in the wall shop and I had an Audi dealer pick it up since I was going to have insurance pay for it anyway.

My question is is it possible to completely ruin an engine by driving it a mile with no coolant? I think someone at the dealer put water in it to drive it and overheated it more. There is probably no way for me to prove that so I'm basically screwed. Just bought it two months ago.
