Engine Coolant/Wiperfluid problem..help!
My girlfriend messed up and put wiperfluid in her engine coolant reservoir..I said it was the tank w/the blue cap. Well..wrong blue cap. I'm thinking it's no big deal immediately, and to watch for the engine getting overheated, and to get the coolant flushed.
Any other issues? Suggestions?

really shouldnt be a problem. there arent any parts in the cooling system made of materials that you wouldnt find in the washer fluid system, other than the engine block, and that should be fine.
i would get it flushed asap though, the fluid could have a reaction with the coolant and gunk something up. and im sure you know to use G12 on the refill.

Yeah...any idea how much G12 to use? Manual says nothing because of how it needn't be flushed in NORMAL circumstances. It's a 3.0 as well. And is it easy to drain in audi's? I had to drain coolant once in my Mom's Corolla S, but didn't know how easy it'd be to get to in an Audi.

i can only tell you from 1.8 experience, it may be the same. on the drivers side of the radiator there is a hose at the bottom and there is a sensor pretty close to the radiator. thats where ive heard to drain the coolant. im not sure of the capacity, but look in the manual index under fluids. there should be a sub item that says capacities. check there

already checked the manual. Capacities only lists oil, washerfluid and gas. So underneath I should be able to find the hose...if anyone knows how to distinguish it from a different hose, please let me know asap! Thanks.
