Default drove an s4 last night

ok so my buddy got a 2001 s4 6 speed manual about a month ago, he brought it into work last night and let me take it for a drive... loved it!! the clutch was just how i want it, nice and stiff.. now the s4's are real nice cars but if they break then holy **** i better take out a loan... especially if the turbos die, at least 3 grand for stock k03s... what clutch could i buy fr my car that would give me the s4 firmness to it? thanks in advance for your help guys!!

out of all the stock clutch'd S4's i've driven they haven't been very stiff. absolutely nothing compared to my southbend stg 4..

if you're looking for a good upgrade. but aren't looking to hold a lot of power. i would go with a southbend stg 3. it's going to be a bit stiffer than the stock S4's. but you'll get used to it and it'll hold some decent power and last a long time

i have an FE SS (stage 5) it felt very hard to depress the first day but i was used to it in just a few days, the engagement point is very grabby but as its broken it, its much better now.... if you ever plan to mod or like to launch a lot, i would go OFE SS or FE SS..... i did about half a dozen launches last night on my airstrip racing a rsx-s with header, exhaust, and intake... i can rev to 5k and dump it, it just spins all four then goes, the rsx-s was stuck next to me spinning every time...i wouldjump ahead 3-4 lengths thenhe would start to pull on me towards the end though once he got the RPMs up and the i-vtec kicked in

i dont plan on dumping it, ill give it an occasional launch once in a while, i just want somthing that drives and feels like the s4 i drove last night, it was perfect, i hopped right in and took off with no problems at all, get into my car and go to drive it and was reminded how much i hate the clutch lol

well i know that parts are pricey, i just paid 220 bucs for my front brakes, got them in last night and now isee why... holy **** they are huge and weigh 20 pounds a piece... any ways what i was sayin is that i am willing to spend the money on a new clutch and do the labor on it only if it is going to make the difference i am looking for...
