Default Driver Door Problem (Electrical)

I searched the forums and found a few other threads that were having the same problem as me, but none of them had any responses. Here is the break down.

2002 A4 3.0 Quattro: The driver door has lost all power to the switches and buttons. The door doesn't register for the open door indicator, the dome light system either. The lock actuator does not work from either the key fob or the interior switches. I checked the fuses for everything that would even remotely be a part of the system to see if I had just blown it. I did not pull all of them, just half a dozen or so. If any body has any ideas or comments for more info to help diagnose this issue please shot them out. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey man, pull back the rubber boot and look for broken wires where the door opens. You can unclip the boot rrom the car side, not the door side and you may find a few broken ones in there. Happened to me twice on a 2002 a4 1.8t

Default Wires in the Door

Same thing happened to me. Does not take long to rewire. Sucks if you have big hands.
