synthetic "can" last that long with the proper filter

but syn will break down just like any other oil

and one reason i change my oil so ofter is i have a boosted car, like to run it that heats up my turbo/engine which in turn heat my oil...... hotter parts = break down of oil

i would rather pay the extra for shorter intervalls then for a motor

also you probably follow the owners manual on the 100k tb change right?

or did you do it early cause you didn't wanna pay for a motor rebuild or new one all together?
