just new on here so hello to all...

i've just bought a 2003 A4 1.9 Tdi 130bhp, its remapped with powerflow exhaust system, full s-line kit, coilovers, 18 inch RS6 alloys..

Thing is.. its got a dump valve on it, but i was told that any dump valve on a diesel would have to be electronically activated or something due to the lack of back pressure in diesel turbos (i.e. no butterfly valves), but theres no wires at all?! i'll try upload a pic tomorro.. it works fine as long as i change gears before 2000rpm, and its quiet enough..

im not sure if this is normal? if anyone could shed a bit of light on the situation it would be much appreciated..

ok... i think cos its mapped, the turbo spins faster, which is why it works..?... maybe..
