Can anyone tell me if I'm getting a good rate? I've only owned the car for a little less than a year and I'm just curious if the dealership is jerking me around.
The flange itself is pretty cheap ($30 online) but replacing it is a bear. The haynes manual calls for about 4 hours of labor so you're paying around $90 an hour which isn't too bad. My old dealer charged $135 per hour, it depends on where you are in the country. You could probably find someone to change it for $70 per hour, but $90 is a pretty good deal in my book for a dealer.
