Default coilpack

Okay coilpacks gone bad. Where is the cheapest place i can find one or some. I know ecs tunning carries them but do other complanys besides the stealership.

Id say pay the few extra bucks and get some from ecstuning.. i know a few who have said they are even better than audi's new coilpacks after the reacurring problems

Just get the ECS coilpack solution stage 1 at least. You will never have to worry about your coilpacks again.installed them on a previous 1.8t motor and never had a single problem afterwards.

So why does the stageI coilpack have bolts my car dosent have bolts for the coilpacks it just succtions on.

yeah, I was wondering that too. I ordered them and saw the bolts and was like wtf? Do they think I'm going to drill and tap my engine?

Yeah, so actually i'm a complete idoit. There are holes around the coils. I just never really looked I guess, but I installed them today with the supplied bolts and weather seal things. So atleast on the 2005 1.8tengine there are pre-existing holes for the Hitachi coils to be bolted down.
