get the 1+ flash, it makes a lot more torque and will hold it a tad bit longer than stage 1....i barely noticed the stage 1 trial...you can PM manguyen on audizine for the injectors(much cheaper than APR)... FMIC or upgraded sidemount IC will be your next best bang the for the buck followed by exhaust/test pipe and TIP

I noticed a big change with the Stage 1 trial software from APR. But then went to 1+ a couple months later, so i dont remember the difference. But deffinatly worth it!

What about chipping a 1.8T CVT? Is that worth it?

I've been wanting to get this mod for a while and finally am looking into the APR Stage I+. I was looking at the injectors installation document and I'm not clear about one thing. Do you need to rethread the injector seats for the APR injectors? Check out step 8 in the .pdf: http://www.goapr.com/Audi/support/injectors.pdf

Any help form the guys that have installed the injectors themselves would be appreciated.

i went with the apr stage 1 back in jan of this year... it's a night and day difference. i got the cat delete file from them so i could run my test pipe with no cel.....the total i was charged was $550 with tax. and it is def noticeable... u go from 8psi or so stock, to 18psi. i first noticed that where the stock car used to stop pulling, the stage 1 car keeps on going. i got the stage 1 instead of the 1+ program because it was cheaper, and it gives me a chance to enjoy it like it is and by the time i start to get bored, i will have saved up enough to go to 1+. i found 380cc injectors online for $248 and plan on using them w/ the 1+. and for gas mileage, when i'm driving normal, i get about 25 around town and 33+ on the highway cruising @ 65 in 5th gear (god i wish it was a 6spd, 65mph@3000rpm!!!)

stage 1 or 1+ flash is the same price, they will charge you if you upgrade to 1+ though...

APR software seems to be happiest with the OEM tt225 386cc injectors, 380cc ones seem to have a few idle issues and cold start problems... manguyen on audizine sells they tt225 bosch injectors for around $350 shipped
