I've got a 3.0 cabriolet, would a chip make much of a difference in my ride as well?

the 3.0 chip barely gains 5 hp, i do hear it changes the powerband and removes the speed limiter

Does anyone have a website where I can do some research on the performance chip you guys are talking about?

id say all three are very close in power, go with the dealer closest to you and one u trust the most. im very happy with the APR file

revo requires a test pipe and they want you to have a FMIC, intake and exhaust, otherwise the tune back the timing and boost

Does anybody know if getting a chip voids an extended warranty from a third party company like Warranty Direct?

im sure a third party company would look for any reason to refuse warranty work, but they cant see the flash, most dealers wouldnt drive it far enough to notice it.. just get it, plus they have to prove how the chip messed it up, IE they cant refuse a power window that broke because of a chip

I've heard of Unitronic. Actually a group called Pure Euro just came out to town recently and put on a Unitronic chip day here in Vegas with Blacksheep (vegas euro tuning joint). A bunch of guys got hooked up with them and some of the guys form my club with Gti's got them as well. All is well so far and they love them. As for me I'll stay with my giac! I love it!

Over the weekend I went ahead and purchased the '05 A4 1.8L Quattro I was looking at. I got it from an Audi Dealerso it came with the certified waranty, as well aspremium package, cold weather package, lighting package, and Bose sound system just over 27K milesall for about $22,000 which I am pretty happy with. I am still adjusting to the Turbo Engine since I had been driving the 2.8L for a number of years but so far I am very happy with the purchase. Next Step will be the APR chip simply due to the fact that APR isthe only dealer within a reasonable distance. Any other suggestions you guys may have would be appreciated.
