Can i fit a double din?

Default Can i fit a double din?

Hi all i hope i got the right forum, i have an audi a4 1.8T 2002 i think its B6? just wondering if its possible to fit a double din? the heater controls are on the way but theres space on the compartment under. Any help would be much appreciate it.

Yes, it will fit. You will need to buy a dash kit for your aftermarket head unit. Some dash kits (such as Metra) come with wiring harnesses, removal tools, etc. (everything that you need for the install). The only additional things that I purchased were two more radio removal tools called "keys" (as you will need four of them, and only two are provided in the kit). Apparently you can do it with just two (somehow), but I have found it easier to have four. Then you will need hardware for the wiring (splicing tools) if you are doing it yourself (I would assume you know about that already). As for the dash kit, just purchase this:

2002-2008 AUDI A4 RADIO INSTALL DASH KIT COMBO 99-9107B | eBay

I just installed that kit into my car. If you need any help on the install, let me know.
