Default Can brake fluid leak onto an exhaust component?

Hi guys,

I searched and search but I couldn't find an answer. Here is what's happening.

- Drive and all is fine BUT

- if I brake hard I'll start to smell something burning

- the smell is definitely coming through the vents

- It almost smells like burn oil but it is missing something which leads me to believe it's brake fluid

- After I take off again, the smell eventually goes away.

-Now the (0) light is flashing three times along with the beep which seems to mean that I need more brake fluid.

This has me thinking there's a leak somewhere in the brake system which is causing brake fluid to leak onto a part of the exhaust. Has anyone ever experienced this and if it is brake fluid, would anyone know where this leak may be occurring???

P. S. I know what burn oil smells like (had a leaky valve cover for awhile until it was fixed) and I don't think it's oil, close though.... I'm just putting two and two together. 1. Weird burning smell and 2. low brake fluid a few weeks later.

Can someone PLEASE Help
