Brake squeak when not braking
Hi all. For some reason my front passenger brake is making a squealing sound when im not braking. It is completely fine when I first start driving but then it gets progressively worse as it heats up. The car still breaks firmely and does not pull to one side. I have disassembled them and sanded/cleaned the rotors as well as the pads. There is atleast 30% of pad left. Please help!

RE: Brake squeak when not braking
yes everything is working perfectly and the fluid seems to be fine. However I didnt do the de-squeak. is this what you are talking about http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductD...goryCode=3223? CRC Chemicals Disc Brake Quiet?

RE: Brake squeak when not braking
ok I just picked up the CRC Chemicals Disc Brake Quiet and I am in the process of applying. Now do I put it on the back of the pad then wait for it to completely dry? or do I apply to the pad and put the brakes back together so everything sticks? thanks

RE: Brake squeak when not braking
After trying to bed in my brakes yesterday i realised the sound is coming from the rear passenger brake[:@]. When I took the wheel off I noticed that when i spun the rotor, the brake pads would make little to no noise at one point on the rotor(this corresponds to the sound they make when driving). If I simply pushed on the outer brake pad with one finger the pads would make full contact at that point. I tried sanding the pads and the rotor anyway as well as applying the brake de-squeak to the backs of the pads but it didn't help. So I'm guessing the rotor is warped but it didn't look like it was when i spun it. any advice would be appreciated thanks!
