average price of a timing belt?

Is you car 02 or 03? If yes, now u can take your car to the dealer for the free check up of your timing belt, if they think its in abd condition they will replace that for free, if they say its in a good condition and something brakes, they will have to repair everything i think. regarding that thread link..i just called up jack daniels and the guy in service is like "that letter is for us only to check if your timing belt needs to be changed..not to change it". i thought they were gonna change them for free too..lol
