Appropriate spark plugs for 2002 A4 1.8T
I recently had a tune up done on my A4 1.8T (2002). Two days later three of the four coil packs failed. I was out of town and took my car to a nearby service station. Was told that the problem could have been caused by incorrect spark plugs. The tune up mechanic used Autolite Platinum AP 3923. I am certainly not looking to blame the mechanic. Just need to know if there are other causes I should be looking into, and if the Autolite plugs aren't the ones to use - to mention it next time I bring the car in so I don't run into the same problem.
Thanks!

The coil packs are know for going out and I hope they replace all four coil packs so you dont have to worry about the last one going bad...I dont know how spark plugs could cause the coil to go bad unless I guess if the plugs had to big of gap causing the worn out coil pack to work harder to jump the gap and fry the coil.
The best plug would have been some NGK iridiums because audi's factory plugs are NGK and iridium plugs are the best for turboed cars...platnum plugs tend to wear out very fast with boosted cars.
