airbag fault
Hi
I'm new to this forum and just wondered if anyone is knowledgeable about airbag fault on A4 b6.
Airbag lamp is on.
I've got vagcom and it gives me
"00859 Airbag igniter 1 Passenger side (N131)
001- Upper limit exceeded
I can turn it off, but it returns after 3-5 seconds
I've read a lot of posts about this fault and the consensus is it's the cable under the seat, I only have one cable, plugs into the floor connector and goes straight under the seat squab with no intermediate plug.
Also is the error code relating to the seat bolster bag, dash bag or curtain bag and what does "upper limit exceeded" mean?
Thanks in anticipation

talking to myself
Putting this up for info, may be useful to someone.
After getting no response re which airbag 0589 related to, I disconnected the seat one from the floor and another fault came up, replaced connector and cleared fault, left with original 0589 code.
So 0589 is passenger dash bag, removed glove box discovered dislodged plug (loom to airbag) reconnected, cleared fault code, no air bag lamp, so I am a happy chappie.
