Default HID Lights

Hey guys I put An HID kit on my car a couple months ago and turned out great. i used Phillips 4300k lights so it would give a stock oem look. im not trying to be rice and get the crazy light i wanted a nice clean look and it perfect. they look really blue when they first turn on then go into a light blue when its warmed up. i also had to modify the door almost on the back of your front headlight housing. there is a little cap that covers the back of light and i had to cut a hole in the middle of it in order for the HID wires to come thru.

make sure you seal the hole you cut with some automotive silicone, or else you'll get condensation inside the headlight

me and my friend got our HIDs from DDM, he got 35w 5000k and I got 55w 5000k and you CANT tell the difference in color [obviously mine are brighter] unless we're side by side, and even then I'd guess its only ~800k difference (mine are just a bit whiter than his). I plan on running 35w 5000k in my fogs....

my SLIM-ballast HID kit from DDM fit perfectly inside my headlight housing so I didnt have to drill any holes and it looks way cleaner!!

Hey guys, I bought my car with aftermarket HID low beams and shortly after both of the ballasts went bad. I'm deciding to convert back to stock halogen. Judging by the posts I'm thinking I just need to remove the bulbs and ballasts and replace them with the original bulbs. Does this sound right?

correct, but there will prolly be a hole in the rear headlight cover from the hid cables that will need to be sealed too
