Default Aftermarket H.I.D kits, what do you recommend?

My car has Proyectors, I would like to put some HID. I was looking at some kits on ebay, dont know much about HID's and I am sure ebay is not the most reliable place to purchase them.

Anyone has some guidance for me on this?

Thanks.

The most common HID's that people purchase and decently priced ones are from VVME. However, they are located overseas so incase things go bad with them, it will take sometime for the exchange of items/replacements to arrive and such.

Another company that is also pretty popular is called DDM Tuning. This company is located in the US (California) and people have said many great things about this company.

http://www.ddmtuning.com/

However, I don't have any personal experience from neither of them as my car came stock with HID's.

Good luck!

me, and a lot of my friends have been using vvme kits...
my first bulb went out after using it for 1.5 yrs during the day/night...
yes they are not OEM quality, but they are much cheaper... now they are offering 55W kits btw, which are good.

Recently picked up some kits from www.ddmtuning.com. Put them in my DD Jeep, my gf Highlander, and my mom's Tundra. Went with 8000K 55w, in order to get a nice light output. Reason being due to the higher watts.(55w vs standard 35W) it brings down the color. Euro_2nr put 6000K 55w in his B5 and they look about the same color because the projectors really make a difference. Also heard great things about VVMe.

H7 for low beam h7 for high beam which is pointless cuz the highbeam needs time to charge up adn H11 for fogs.

You don't go with the model of the car. Every car has a different bulb size. So far I'm real happy with my DDM kit. For the money it was worth it. Plus the slim ballast fit perfectly under the headlight.

Default matching 55w lows with 35w fogs

question guys, it says that they dont recommend the 55w for foglight housing , so should i just go with 35w 6ook fogs and 55w 8000k for low beams, is there going to be a significant difference or should i just go with 35w 6000k fogs and lows too get perfect match?? what are you guys running in your fogs if you ran 55w in your lows??
