Default ABS light ESP light and, Help

Alright guys I have an 04 A4 1.8t 6 speed. Recently I my ABS light, the ESP light and my check engine light all came on. The only noticeable problem is that when I let my foot off the gas I feel a slight hesitation/jumpy feeling. I took it to Advanced Auto and used the code reader and get P0501 or something it said Speed Sensor. Then I went and got a more advanced reader and it said front left speed sensor. I ordered the part and replaced it myself fairly easy. Ever since the lights have still been on except for occasionally after letting it sit for a while, but eventually after a few minutes they return. I've cleaned out the area the sensor is in and I've checked the wires as best I can. I'm looking for any other suggestions as to a solution, or was wondering if it was necessary to change both the front speed sensors. Thanks for any help guys.

Hey did you ever resolve this issue? I am having the exact same symptoms, same error code, and same lights illuminating. Would be helpful if you shed some light on this, thank you in advance!

I brought my car in at an independent shop and he told me I have a computer issue and that I should bring it to audi. He stated the computer is warrantied till 80k. Does anyone know if this is true of the warranty?

I will be going in for diagnostics either today or Tom , wish me luck!

On a second note after calling a few dealers,
It seems they are only referring to the federal fuel emissions regulation up to 80k. This leads me to believe there may be something wrong with the catalytic converter or something related to that system. Sigh hope this info helps someone.

A few years ago I tried to wire my fog lamps as DRLs and ended up "shorting out" the ABS unit, or so I thought. The icon for a failed ABS was permanently on. I removed it, sent it to Modulemasters who checked it and declared it good, so I re-installed it. Icon gone for ever. It's like the ABS had to be re-set. Maybe it's worth disconnecting it for a few hours.
