Default A4 3.0 brake job

I have a couple questions. It's time to swap out the pads and rotors on my girlfriends A4. I'm looking through tech articles on AW and I came across one (http://www.audiworld.com/tech/wheel.html) that states a VAG is required for bleeding brakes on cars with ESP. Is this true? Why is the VAG needed for this? Is there a work around? Also, I have a Bently for my S4 but not for her A4 yet. Does anyone have torque specs or can you point me to a tech article that has these torque specs? Thanks

The VAG isn't needed to bleed the brakes, thats only for the old school Bosch models. (pre 97) The brake change won't be any different from the S4, probably easier. You still need the special tool to twist in the rear calipers though.
