I'm trying to get to the alternator but it looks buried on the 3.0. It's not on top like the 1.8's have it. How do you get to it? Looks like there isn't even enough space to work with?

 

Don't remember exactly for the 3.0L, but for one you have to posess the special tool for taking off the serpintine belt for starters. Remove the belly pan, and take off whats in the way, if i remember correctly you need to take the A/C compressor loose or the starter, can't remember which. Once thats out of the way there is only two or three allan bolts holding it on.

 

Well that doesn't do me any good.
