2005 3.0 A4 Cab AC problem
My AC works fine on highway or city driving initially, but when I am on the highway for about 2 hours, it blows just luke warm air. Any thoughts as to what this would be and what I have to do to get it fixed, versus going to the dealer? Thanks!

Mine was blowing warm and I just recharged it. Usually it could be a leak problem, but I recharged it 5 months ago and its still ice cold. I guess it depends how bad the leak is.
If you want to try a recharge go for it. I would try that before taking it anywhere since its a cheap test/fix. Does your compressor kick in when you turn the a/c on?

Yes, I think the compressor kicks in initially, as the AC works fine....I talked to the Service dept today and they think it is freezing up or that something is making it shut down after running on the road for a couple of hours. Of course, it is $60-120 to just get the diagnostic of what it is.....at the dealer.
