Default 2003 A4 Wiper blade replacement/conversion

My wife's 2003 Audi A4 quattro needs new wipers. They seem to be the older style (early April 2003 build). Is there a Bosch blade that will directly fit these such as the ICON? or is there a conversion kit I can get to upgrade the blades to the newer style? What would be required?

THX.

oddly enough ive been looking at this a lot recently as i need some new blades. according to boschs site, the dont make ICONS for the a4's (our year anyway...) but they make regular replacements. ecs tuning has a conversion for the newer style (b7) wipers on their website ( http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B6_A4-.../Wiper/ES6574/ ).

i dont know if thats all you need for it,but theres a starting point anyway. most of the parts places i go to dont stock the size needed for the 2003 a4, but will order them for you if you want. the dealers always have them in stock and are usually only slightly marked up.

btw the bosch part # is 3 397 001 909 as per their part finder

I upgraded to the aero wipers and talk about night and day difference. Probably one of the best things ive done to my car. Installing the first one took a little bit of time but there is a trick to it and the once i found out thesecond one took me all of 2 minutes to swap.

better life and better quality. You gotta do the swap. You need arms and blades from a b7.

Looks like that is all you need. I bought 4 parts: 2 arms, and 2 blades.

Thanks I will look into the swap. I bought replacement blades in the meantime. They were shredded due to the current ice storm here.

Do I need any new nut/bolt for the wipers or can I reuse the existing ones?

I had a friend put mine in and only those 4 parts had to be replaced. everything else was re-used
