2002 Bose radio lights on, no function
My 2002 A4 has the Bose 6-CD changer audio system.
Yesterday it failed in an odd way. All the audio system key lights and the backlight for the display are on ALL the time, and there is no response to pushing the power on/off button, the CD eject, etc.
By ALL the time, I mean even after the car has sat overnight locked up. So I was concerned that these lights were draining my battery. I tried to find a fuse in the main box up past the driver's left knee, but my first three guesses were all wrong. That was last night. More sober and with better light, I saw that it was fuse number 39 and stopped the train this morning. I'll keep it on the charger for a while before trying to start it.
I'd appreciate any help on reviving the radio, especially if I might have put it into this state by some inadvertent user error.
