2002 a4 with hybrid Ko4, FMI and auto trans..... Have questions "HELp"
So i just replaced my blown ko3 with a hybrid Ko4 and put an aftermarket intercooler and intake. Also car has tiptronic auto trans, has apr stage 1 plus chip and audi TT injectors. Now when the car picks up speed and gains boost once it reaches around 15 lbs to 20 lbs the boost fluctuates. Now im assuming its bc the chip is ment for a ko3? Can i put a manual boost controller to bypass the chip? What do you guys think??

Be very careful with the boost levels with a K04 and auto transmission, I have heard these things cannot handle much more power and torque than what you are currently running.
I don't think the manual boost controller would be the safest route. Call the company that gave you the ecu tune. If it's APR, they're more than willing to help, and a lot of the time the upgrade in software is very cheap if you have existing APR software.
