Default 1/4 mile times guesses for a 3.0

Well im taking my 2004 A4 3.0 with a 6spd and a tune from SpeedtuningUSA done to the track this weekend to see what it can do. Any one else take their 3.0 to the track looking for some ballpark ideas of what i could run or any guesses to what it will run. I will post up my time slip over the weekend.

15.8 is my best guess. If you are taking weight out of the car then maybe 15.5.

High 15s, if you eat some burgers before maybe low 16s...

so went to the track but it was raining in the am so we only did 1/8 mile for most of the day and i only got 1 1/4 mile pass in. For the 1/8 my 3.0 ran a 9.813 @ 72.25 and in the 1/4 it ran a 15.58 @ 92.65. Overall i was pretty happy but wish i could have done more 1/4 mile runs i think i could have gotten that time down since my 1/8 split in that 1/4 run was a 10.21 a whole .4 slower then my best 1/8 mile. But was just going to see what it could run and was happy to get a decent number. And this was a run with my full spare and a little over a 1/4 tank and because of the raining earlier in the day the humidity was high dont know the exact percent.

Faster than i expected, but rain shouldn't play much of a factor in that heavy AWD car, might shave off .1 seconds in dry conditions. You should throw on a sprint booster and see what you get.

If you use the 1.526 (from your only 1/8 to 1/4 run) your best 1/8th comes out to 14.97.

That high humidity will make the car much slower since it is really changing the DA, better conditions and you should shave a good amount off your times.

Here is a time list for B6's, but there is only one stock 3.0 on the list at the bottom of the page.

yeah i might take it to the track again next spring under more ideal conditions to see if i can better it, but my 3.0 is just my DD. Not something I will be doing much more to besides a K&N filter , so the sprint booster most likely wont be done. And i have a 89 Mustang that will be ready for the track in the spring also and should be running mid 12's so that should fill my need for speed!
