Hi, new here on the forums.

I have an 02 A4 quattro 3.0 and unfortunately while being careful putting it back together I lost the little coil spring that sits between the Vacuum Switching Valves and the shifter rod which is inside the intake manifold.

What is the function of this spring?

I've searched everywhere but I can't find this part. It's either I have to buy the intake manifold assembly or the VSV assembly which I don't want to do.

Does anyone have one currently out of the vehicle in a way that they could give me dimensions for the particular compression coil spring?
