im going to honestly have to say no. for me low miles=under 80k
i have bought my own and helped my friend buy the same thing.
i think you should get a 1.8t awd.
i got mine with 90k for 10500
he got his with 75k for 11000
both with fees and everything else.
ps keep in mind that they will need maintenance.

Seems impossible in MN; I felt I was getting a good deal on the one I bought last week - $10,790 before taxes, etc for an '02 1.8T Quattro manual trans with 62,000 miles. Granted, it's in BEAUTIFUL shape, so I suppose you might be able to find a rougher one for less...

right... I was looking for a 1.8t quattro...but couldn't find one with low mileage for my price range ~10K.
I have been reading the forums on 3.0L.
Are there any known issues with 3.0L other than no mods options and fwd?

well if you have front wheel drive and its an automatic i belive you have the cvt transmisson
and word is cvt transmisson dies really early in the cars life, about 70k miles or so i think
so if thats the case, then no you didnt not get that good of a deal on your car if you'll only have it for like 30k miles if your lucky
but some one can correct me if im wrong
