I had to do my coilpack recall and one of the Audi techs called me back to the work bay. He asked me what was on my map sensor. I explained to him that it was the diode mod and he had no clue...He then asked me why I have my BOV recirculated. He said it would sound cooler if I just let it blow off...and THIS is the guy that works on your R8 or other high-end Audi.

Gotta love this thread.

You know when your sunroof is stuck and you just leave it open...

...then try later with the key in the door to see if it closes.

When things don't work for months (driver side window button for the passenger side window) and then one day it works fine, like it never happened.

Love how this car fixes itself .

I was more scared when my check engine light just disappeared after being on for over a month then when it just popped up.

You know when you're a b5 owner when: your want to close your window, but it decides to stop for a moment, then go back down on itself. (Stupid window regulator)

You know when you're a b5 owner when: you slap on the "DOPE" rings sticker. (Actually, not only b5's...lol)

You know when you're a b5(Audi) owner when: you see a VW, you think of them as your brother.

You know when you're a b5(Audi) owner when: you see a BMW, you think of them as your rival.

You know when you're a b5 owner when: you are proud of your car, knowing that it all started with your model, after seeing the newer A4's.

You know you're a b5 owner when you own a bicycle and consider it to be a very viable means of transportation.
