Default Xenon Bulbs

Sorry if i posted this in the wrong place. I am looking for some Xenon H1 bulbs that burn at 4300k. I do not want a HID conversion kit. Also I think I need to replace the motor mounts on my car. can someone point out some good mounts?
Sorry if this is confusing!

True Xenon bulbs require a ballast to ignite and that's what you get in an HID conversion kit. If you have a 1996-2001 A4, you need H7 bulbs, not H1. If you need H1, you're in the wrong forum. You can get a conversion kit for $68.99 at www.vvme.com. It's a great price and way better than the "xenon look" bulbs you're talking about which are pretty much just blue tinted halogen bulbs. I ordered two kits from the recently and got them both within 4 days of ordering...from China!

Get 034 Street Density mounts from http://www.speedlifemotorsport.com.

Totally. Unless it was you, then they're suddenly not so smart... or cool. or awesome.

sorry if this sounds retarted... but thats a great link you posted up.

I have a 2001 a4, could I order the HID conversion kits - single beam, h7 bulb, and just plug and play? Sorry I don't mean to hyjack this, but had a similar question.... or would I need the dual beam?

Yup it's plug n play, so to speak. Search on different installation methods. Some people drill into the back of the dust cover on the headlight for the bulb wiring harness, and there are different ballast mounting locations. You'll retain your stock halogen high beams.

No dual beam for you. Single beam H7s.

I wouldn't suggest doing the high's though unless you live out in the middle of no where that you leave your high's on for a while. Otherwise the bulbs take a while to ignite to make it worth while.
