wtf is wrong with my coolant light

why does my coolant light start flashing after drivin on the highway for about 45 min.? oil temp stays at around 175F- 200F and my coolant gauge sits on the line right before the middle line.... coolant is sittin right where it should...

i was maybe thinkin it was something to do with the water pump?


any help or advice will b appriciated...

the coolant level light? does it beep three times when it comes on? probably a faulty sensor on the bottom of the coolant tank. whenever i forget to clip the sensor back on after working on the car that light will come on.

i dont hear it beep. but then again when my low fuel light comes on i dont beep either... so it prob does but the beep notification is broken... anyone know how to fix the beep noise too?

it's probably the sensor but i've nvr heard of that sensor going bad but it doesn't mean it can't. i'd just ignore it unless it annoys you that much lol

Mine does the same crap and I've got a new tank with sensor but the clip is broken of the vehicle side of the connector so it doesn't secure very well. pull the sensor connector off the bottom of the expansion tank and clean it with some contact cleaner then re-install; make sure it's on good and the connector snaps tight.
