Wouldn't be to hard to convert a quattro to RWD.

seems kind of counter-intuitive though doesn't it? Buy a car with a badass AWD setup just to dismember it and make a RWD car?

i always wondered if i took out the front cv axles if everything would work just fine for rear wheel drive...maybe thats what he did..

Ehh I don't think the 4:1 diff would do that. Though I don't know much about it. I do know that there's a lot of guys on the Zine that run that mod, maybe go lurk around there and see what you can find?

Actually, if the 4:1 allowed burnouts like that, I would for sure never install it. Afterall, what's the point in quattro if you're going to be smoking tires on the line?

I doubt it, because a Torsen would apply the torque to the front where there's no resistance.

Honestly, if not for the awesomeness that is Quattro, I would have never considered buying an A4.

Was AWD a must when you were car shopping? What were the other possibles?
