i want to do a seafoam treatment but im not sure because i hear that if you have to much wear and tear in your cylinder walls that you will loose compresstion and their for toss power out the window and possibly need to re-hone the walls.

Seafoam, if done properly will not damage your car. It CAN however reveal other problems. if there's nothing but bird **** and rust holding a fender on and you give 'er a scrub and the fender falls off do you blame the soap?

lots of DIY's on how to properly seafoam, even specific as to which vac line to pull it through... take a stroll around the site and you're sure to find 'em.
