Default Is it worth it the trade?

Hello everyone I'm currently in the middle of trading my A6(c5) 2.8 with 19" wheels, cross drilled front rotors, decent interior(black/camel leather), and many new critical engine parts timing belts, etc. 190,000.. For a A4(b5) 1.8T with reflashed ecu, rebuild front end, new timing belt, exhaust, 5speed, cloth interior(yuck), new paint, s4 wheels, and many more I probably didn't get to cover with him yet, so basically I want a smaller car to mod heavily performance wise, I cant even find suspension for the A6(smh), I am new to owning an Audi, but I'm aware of the gremlins do to me owning Volkswagens all my life and owning A E34 BMW I do most of my own work, basically I just wanna know if I'm getting short handed with this trade?

Depending on the condition of the A4 - I think you might be getting a good deal. First of all, you have a 2.8. There is so much you can do to that engine without dropping 5+ grand for a supercharger. The 1.8T is more mod friendly when it comes to performance mod.

Also the cloth interior is somehow desirable within the B5 crowd since you won't have to worry about it ripping as much as leather interior. Plus they are considered "rare" since most came with leather.

Lastly, there are suspension made for your car. You just have to look for them.

Around here a C5 is worth less or close to a similar condition B5, if it's in good shape and you know for fact that everything was installed properly I would go for it. But chances are you're going to be in for a surprise every time you try to fix something, at least that's my experience with even slightly modded cars.
