Default Wobbling Audi

I have a 1997 Audi A4 1.8T AWD, I just recently purchased it about 3 and a half weeks ago. About three days ago I noticed that it's starting to do this thing where it kind of wobbles like the wheels going to fall off. I checked all of the wheels and tires, and they all seem to be pretty tight. I even got behind the car to see if there was a noticeable difference in the way any of the tires may be leaning, and all I could see is that the two back tires look a little bowed. I'm pretty sure that's more than likely abnormal.

I had someone tell me today that it could be my ball joint. I'm just not sure what it could be. Do any of you have any idea? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
S.Turner

Is it in the front or the rear! Is it at a certain speed or get worse with speed? Does it happen when turning right or left?

yeah what he said. and...

Quattro is very sensitive to even minor differences in balance, tire wear, etc. Maybe one of these.

If you feel it in your hands through the steering wheel, its a front end problem. If you feel it in your backside through the seat its a back end problem (usually).

I had it checked out the other day. They told me that my back passenger side tire had a knot in it and that the belt inside of the tire was probably broke. So, I took it to Sears and they replaced the tire for me and showed me that the back driver's side is pretty much the same way. I was also told that I needed to change all of my tires, not just one, because apparently with an AWD it could mess up the transmission really bad if they all aren't the same balance.
